Nansemond River’s Trayce McPherson (left) racked up a career-high 280 yards in his team’s 17-7 defeat of Churchland Friday night, putting him at 1,277 yards for the season. It was the second-straight 1,000 yard season for McPherson, who team finished the season at 2-8 (they had to forfeit their Oct. 17 win over Great Bridge for using an ineligible player).
