Mrs. Virgie Skeeter, 100, of 110 North 11th St., Suffolk, died Monday, Nov. 17, 2003, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

A native of Nansemond County, she was the widow of Leon Skeeter, and the daughter of the late Lee Andrew Skeeter and Mollie Lassiter Skeeter.

She had retired from Planters Peanut Company.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Blanch Hawkins of New York, N.Y.; one granddaughter, Princess Skeeter Stokes of Newport News; and several other relatives and friends.

The funeral will be held at noon Saturday in Crocker Funeral Home. Burial will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery.
