Beatrice Brown, daughter of the late Chester Little and the late Lena Alston, was born on Aug. 2, 1921. God called her home on Nov. 20, 2003.

She was educated in the Carolina school system.

She was married to Elijah Brown and to this union, two daughters were born.

Beatrice leaves to mourn her husband, Elijah; two daughters, Inez Goodman (James) and Sarah Whitley (Calvin); one brother, Joseph Little; seven grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many other relatives and friends.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at T.E. Cooke-Overton Funeral Home Chapel. Viewing will be from noon to 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Suffolk, Va.
