The Suffolk Art League, in cooperation with the Suffolk Museum will be offering the art workshops listed. These will be held at the Suffolk Museum, 118 Bosley Ave.

YOUNG ARTISTS

From 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 11 (Registration deadline is Dec. 4)

For ages 3 to 5

Registration fee is $4 SAL members/$5 non-members per session.

Students will have fun while participating in age appropriate art activities. Students use their natural creativity while exploring a variety of art materials and their many uses.

OIL PASTEL WORKSHOP

From 9:30 a.m. to noon

For ages 14 to adult

Instructor: Debbie Hobbs

Registration fee is $13.50 SAL members/$15 non-members

Registration deadline is Dec. 2

Joint this class to explore the medium of oil pastel. Most are familiar with chalk pastel, often used in portraiture. This workshop will focus on techniques available to artists using these vibrant oil pastels.
