Mr. Martin &uot;Bayboy&uot; L. Ricks, 78, of 812 Milford Lane, Suffolk, died November 23, 2003, in Autumn Care. He was a native of Nansemond County and was the son of the late Ernest L. Ricks and Martha Eley Ricks.

He is survived by three sisters, Edna Bivins, Marion A. Briggs and Frances A. Pittman of Suffolk; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Crocker Funeral Home Chapel by Dr. A. Eugene Wiggins.

Interment will be held in Carver Memorial Cemetery.
