Janet Whitley Kello, 49, died Dec. 7, 2003, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

Born May 9, 1954 in Suffolk, she was the daughter of Garland S. and Marjorie Gardner Whitley of Zuni. Mrs. Kello was a full time mom and a member of Antioch Christian Church. She served as secretary-treasurer of William E. Dickerson Inc.

Besides her parents, she is survived by her husband, John Wayne Kello; daughter, Anne Kello Ellis of Sussex County; son, John Curtis (Scooter) Kello of Windsor; seven grandchildren; brother, Gene Whitley of Windsor; special friends, James & Tracey Tuttle, Bill and Nancy Peele.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the graveside in Windsor Cemetery by the Rev. Basil L. Ballard. The family will receive friends from, 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the R.W.
