The National Drag Racer’s Association of Suffolk held its first (and hopefully annual) Christmas drawing on Saturday afternoon, as president Anna Bryant (right) and her husband Collis (left), the club’s secretary awarded a $500 Wal-Mart gift certificate to member Scott Shields. Part of the proceeds for the drawing went to the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters. The group will next meet at 7 p.m. Jan. 6 at the Calvary Baptist Church at 545 Turlington Road.
