Ms. Emily M. Cherry, 46, of 255 Holladay Street, Suffolk, died Sunday, Dec. 14, 2003, in Obici Hospital. She was a native of Nansemond County and a daughter of Nonie B. Cherry of Suffolk.

She is survived by two daughters, Sirena Cherry and Nena Cherry, both of Suffolk; two sisters, Evelyn Gray and Venetta Hamlin of Suffolk; two brothers, James Henry Cherry of Portsmouth, and Robert Lee Cherry of Columbia, S.C.; three grandchildren; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The funeral will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday in Crocker Funeral Home Inc. Interment will be held in Carver Memorial Cemetery.
