Mr. and Mrs. Reginald Bryant and Mr. and Mrs. Persie Stagg announce the engagement of their children, Darryl Lamont Bryant to Chanel Charissa Stagg.

Darryl is a 1992 graduate of Nansemond River High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in business management from Norfolk State University in 1998.

He is an accounts manager/supervisor for Bank of America.

Darryl is the grandson of Mrs. Ethel Bryant and the late Mr. Crawly Bryant, as well as the late Mrs. Catherine Mazell and Mr. Walter Mazell.

Chanel is a 1992 graduate of Nansemond River High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in education from Norfolk State University in 1997, and a master of science degree in education administration from Old Dominion University in 2001.

She is an assistant principal for Suffolk Public Schools.

Chanel is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hall of Suffolk, and the late Mr. and Mrs. George Stagg.

The wedding will take place at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 24, 2004, in Calvary Evangelical Baptist Church, Portsmouth.
