William Nathaniel Holloway of 302 Carriage Court, Suffolk, departed this life on Saturday, Dec. 20, 2003. He was born on June 12, 1929, in Surry County and was a retired civil servant.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Frances Elaine Holloway, 11 children (six children by birth, five stepchildren), 25 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one sister, three brothers, his church family, and many other relatives and friends.

The family will be accepting guests at 302 Carriage Court. Services will be held at noon Dec. 24, 2003, at the Campostella Heights Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1006 Oakwood St., Norfolk, Va. The Rev. Gary Banks will officiate. Burial will follow in Roosevelt Memorial Park.

The remains will be ready for viewing from 3:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. The remains will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Wednesday. The family will assemble at the residence at 11 a.m. for the processional.
