Luezene G. Moore, 63, of 608 Adams Street, Suffolk, died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2003, in Obici Hospital.

She was a native of Southampton County, and a daughter of the late Walter and Edna Reese.

She had retired as a nursing assistant from Nansemond-Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She is survived by her husband, Robert S. Moore Sr. of Suffolk; three daughters, Joyce Hyman and Kimberly Moore, both of Suffolk, and Robin Chester (Anthony) of Chesapeake; two sons, Shawn Moore of Suffolk, and Robert S. Moore Jr. (Regina) of Hampton; five grandchildren, one sister, Pearlene Joyner (James) of Boykins; two brothers, Ellis Gary (Elizabeth) and Emmett Gary; one uncle, Lloyd Vick; one aunt, Christine Murphy; and nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The funeral will be held at noon Monday, Dec. 29, in Metropolitan Baptist Church by Dr. Melvin R. Boone. Interment will be in Nansemond-Suffolk Cemetery.
