Beatrice Johnson Hargrove, 83, of 21 Emmons Place, Portsmouth, died Sunday, Dec. 21, 2003, in Maryview Medical Center, Portsmouth.

The funeral was held Saturday in Faith Cornerstone Church, Pughsville Road, by Bishop Otto Williams. Interment was in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.

Crocker Funeral Home was in charge.
