Margaret Elizabeth Smallwood Harding passed away on Oct. 27, 2003.

Originally from Nansemond County, Suffolk, she was the daughter of the late Alfonso and Arie Cherry Smallwood, and attended East Suffolk High School.

Mrs. Harding is survived by her former husband, Charles Harding; a daughter, Mrs. Kimberly H. Outlaw; three sons, Sebastian D. Harding, Charles W. Harding and his wife, Tanya, and Michael A. Harding, and his wife, Debbie, all of Philadelphia; three sisters, Denise Munnerly of Philadelphia, Carrie S. Cousins and Ruby S. Watkins; and one brother, Linwood Smallwood, all of Suffolk; eight grandchildren, Tameka Outlaw, Clio Banks, Felicia, Sean, Andre, Taylor, Robyn, and Joey Harding; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Her funeral was held in Philadelphia on Nov. 3 with interment in Ivy Hill Cemetery.
