Harry S. Morrill Jr.

Harry St. Clair Morrill Jr., 65, of Suffolk, died Thursday, Jan. 1, 2004, at his home with his family at his side.

Born on Feb. 12, 1938, in Philadelphia, Pa., he was the son of the late Helen Mazedus and Harry S. Morrill Sr.

Mr. Morrill retired in 1994 from Virginia Power as director of customer service, after 36 years of service.

He was a former member of the Cosmopolitan Club of Suffolk.

Survivors include his wife, Marlette Davis Morrill; daughter and son-in-law, Lynette and David Eakins of Suffolk; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Linda Morrill of Virginia Beach, Kevin and Brenda Morrill of Suffolk; and Gary and Kristy Morrill of Zuni; brothers, Robert Morrill of New Jersey, and Ronald Morrill of Suffolk; grandchildren, Elizabeth and Emily Eakins, Jennifer, Katrina, Meg, Grant, Courtney, and Adam Morrill.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the mausoleum at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Basil Ballard.

The family will receive friends in the R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home & Crematory from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday.
