Donald is a retiree as an electrical engineer from Planters after 32 years of service.

Pansy became a first-time deacon at their church, Bethlehem Christian Church on Holland Road, and has also been a Suffolk Meals on Wheels volunteer for over five years.

The Astons said that what keeps them young is visiting the children because there is always something going on in their lives.

They also said that love, trust and happiness in each other and a love of life are the reasons for the longevity of their marriage.
