Mr. and Mrs. James A. Coppola of Suffolk announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth Erin, to William Thomas Kessinger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kessinger Jr., also of Suffolk.

Miss Coppola is a 1994 graduate of Lakeland High School. She is working on her bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies at Virginia Wesleyan College.

Mr. Kessinger is 1995 graduate of Nansemond River High School.

He is a firefighter for the City of Suffolk. He will graduate in May from Old Dominion University with a bachelor of science degree in industrial technology.

A July 31 wedding in Suffolk Christian Church is planned.
