Adell S. Edmonds, 70, of 341 N. Fifth St., Suffolk, died Saturday, Jan. 24, 2004, in Obici Hospital.

A native of Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late Pearl Sauls.

She had retired from the Navy Commissary Store as a procurement clerk.

Her survivors include two daughters, Ethel Pearl Sauls of Woodbridge; and Raydella E. Anderson of Chesapeake; two grandchildren, James W. Anderson Jr. and Jennifer R. Anderson; one great-grandchild, Ja Quan Anderson; and her sister-in-law, Mattie Sauls of Silver Spring, Md.

The graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27, in Holly Lawn Cemetery.

Crocker Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
