Ruth Virginia Lanthorn Stockdill, 55, died Monday, Feb. 9, 2004, in Meridian, Miss.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens Chapel by the Rev. Stewart McCarter.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday in Parr Funeral Home, and other times at 989 Pitchkettle Road.
