Pilots will be provided with the necessary safety seminar and flight instruction to earn their Wings award, which is part of the FAA’s pilot proficiency training program. Eligible participants will be presented with a certificate at the end of the weekend.

Participants are encouraged to attend at least one FAA-sanctioned safety seminar and received three hours of in-flight training in each of the following areas: basic aircraft mastery, instrument training, and takeoffs and landings.

Flight training will be provided at no cost by volunteer flight instructors. However, pilots will be required to furnish an airplane for the flight instruction portion of the training. Rental aircraft will be available of a first-come, first-serve basis.
