Saints drive past Norfolk

Lauren Doughtie shot a 69 for the medalist honor as Nansemond-Suffolk Academy defeated Norfolk Collegiate 293-319 Tuesday at the Ocean Lakes golf course. Andy Rivenbark shot a 74, and Warren Taylor and LeCardi Johnson each had 75 for the Saints.

NSA swept in lacrosse

Nansemond-Suffolk Academy was swept in lacrosse Tuesday, with both the boys and girls teams falling to Cape Henry. Cape Henry also defeated NSA in boys tennis.

Field Hockey camp opens June 23

The N2 Stix Field Hockey Camp will hold its fourth annual season on June 23-27, and its second on June 30- July 3.

The camp teaches basic rules and fundamentals, defensive strategies, offensive strategies, conditioning, game situations, small games, individual and group competitions, and skills contests.

It will be held at Lakeland High School, and taught by Suffolk high school field hockey players. The rate for Session 1 is $100, and Session 2 rate is $80. Signup date is May 1, and is open to girls age 7-17. For more information, visit www.n2-stix.com.
