Leroy White, 68, of 210 S. Division St., Suffolk, died Tuesday, April 27, 2004, in Obici Hospital.

A native of Nansemond County, he was a son of the late Charlie and Florida Taylor White, and the widower of Mary White. He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Corey White.

He is survived by three daughters, Shelia White (Shelton), Tracy White Warren (William), and Linda White, all of Suffolk; one son, Frederick White, and his wife, Diane, of Suffolk; four sisters, Ida Belle Welch, Mamie Fleetwood, Betty Goodman, and Mary Wilkins, all of Suffolk, one brother, William Wilkins of New York City, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a devoted friend, Beulah Skinner of Suffolk; and nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The funeral will be held at 3:30 Saturday, May 1, in New Paul’s Temple Holiness Church by Pastor Catherine B. Skinner. Interment will be in the Langston Cemetery.
