James Ruben Brinkley Jr., 36, a native of Suffolk and resident of Hamilton, Ala., died Wednesday, April 28, 2004, at his residence.

The funeral and burial will be held in Hamilton, Ala.

Harris Funeral Home Inc. at 685 Carolina Road, Suffolk, provided the information.
