Charlie Lee Johnson, 85, of 203 North Capitol St., died Monday, May 3, 2004, in Obici Hospital.

He was a native of Nansemond Co., and was the son of the late James Johnson and Elizabeth Clark Johnson.

He was retired from General Service Administrative System.

Survivors are one son, Carl Johnson of Suffolk; one nephew, Lonnie Raynor from Portsmouth; and devoted friends, Raymond Goodwin and William Lee.

The graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, in Holly Lawn Cemetery. Burial will also be in Holly Lawn Cemetery.

Crocker Funeral Home is in charge of services.
