Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Harrell of Suffolk announce the engagement of their daughter, Kari L. Harrell, also of Suffolk, to John P. Maskelony of Chesapeake.

He is the son of Mr. Daniel T. Maskelony of Windsor, and Ms. Joan B. Maskelony of Suffolk.

The wedding will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 17 in Wilroy Baptist Church. The Rev. Carter Dey will officiate.
