A renowned singer, actor and media mogul has now written an autobiography titled, &uot;Soul Exposed.&uot;

Sekenia Williams will now deliver his talent on a new kind of stage – teaming up with online publisher Authorhouse.

According to Williams, the paperback book went on sale recently at a retail price and is on the shelves wherever fine books are being sold.

The book will be published in traditional and book formats by Authorhouse and is a portrait of Williams’ life experiences covering a variety of topics

The outspoken actor/author concentrates his unique brand of story telling on a constantly rotating number of observations, including everything from being single to hard lessons learned while growing up.

Scattered throughout the book Williams relates some autobiographical anecdotes and includes motivational quotes that contain advice and truisms.

Williams was born in Suffolk, attended public schools here, and is a 1982 graduate of the former John Yeates High School. He embarked on an entertainment career in singing at the age of 4 and quickly landed roles in a number of off-Broadway shows.

In his 20s, he decided to change directions and entered the world of modeling, acting, writing, directing, and producing.

He has since made scores of television appearances, including the Jenny Jones Show, BPTV, The Joe Franklin Show, Bio-Rhythm, MTV. His movie appearances in &uot;Nothin’ 2 Lose, starring Brian Hooks and &uot;For Real&uot; starring Tim Reid, are still available at Blockbuster and Hollywood Video.

He now resides in both Norfolk and Los Angeles, Calif., where he writes, performs, directs and produces.

He is the author of five produced stage plays – &uot;4 Sisters from the South,&uot; &uot;Girls in the Hood,&uot; &uot;What God has for Me,&uot; &uot;Troubled Man,&uot; and &uot;She Ain’t Right.&uot;

At 7 p.m. June 18 in the Portsmouth Renaissance Hotel, Williams will be joined by celebrity guests and other guests for a book-signing and VIP reception immediately following the event.
