Tanya Dunn Davis, 33, of 4775 Cherokee Drive, died Sunday, July 18, 2004, at her home.

A Suffolk native, Mrs. Davis was the daughter of James E. and Carol Sweet Dunn of Suffolk. She was the secretary for Davis Lakes and Campground and a student at Christopher Newport University, where she was an &uot;A&uot; student studying law.

She is survived by her husband, T. Neal Davis; a sister, Kristen D. Gentry, and her husband, Gordon, of Sunbury, N.C.; a brother, Robert J. Dunn of Suffolk; her mother-in-law, Helen Davis Hollowell of Suffolk; a brother-in-law, Robert A. Davis, and his wife, Donna, of Suffolk; a sister-in-law, Denise D. Thomas and her husband, Andy, also of Suffolk; nieces Caitlin Gentry and Lisa Crider; and nephews, Thomas Gentry, Matt Davis, Owen Davis and Nick Thomas.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Sidney F. Harrell Chapel of the Harrell & Hill Funeral Home with Chaplain Tommy Reynolds officiating. Entombment will be in the mausoleum at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.

Friends may join the family at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and at the residence at other times.
