Farrow &uot;John&uot; Carpenter, beloved brother, 58, died December 1, 2004. Born February 9, 1946, in Suffolk, he was the son of the late Julius and Lillian Marie Duck Carpenter. Mr. Carpenter attended Westminster Reformed Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by his sisters, Katie C. Goings and Estelle C. Turner, both of Suffolk, a brother, James Albert Carpenter and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. at the graveside in Holly Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the R. W. Baker & Co.
