A Whaleyville woman has died as a result of injuries sustained in a car crash last month.
Lindsey Schubert, 19, died on Wednesday at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital where she had been a patient since the accident.
The accident occurred around 7:47 a.m. on Nov. 23 in the 3300 block of Whaleyville Boulevard in Suffolk, where Schubert’s 1996 Chevrolet Corsica collided head-on with a tractor-trailer driven by James Morris, of Chesapeake.
Police reports indicate that Schubert’s car, while traveling north on Whaleyville Boulevard, was partially in the southbound lane when the crash occurred.
