Margaret W. Ricks, of 1053 Pitchkettle Road, Suffolk, died Dec. 14, 2004 in a Chesapeake hospital. She was a native of Robersonville, NC and daughter of the late Norman Williams. She was the widow of William Ricks. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Joseph N. Gray and two sister, Ruth L. Paige and Kay F. Hassell.

She is survived by her mother, Bertha Coucil Gary of Suffolk; a sister, Ella G. Mabrey of Suffolk; and nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 19, 2004 in Crocker Funeral Home, conducted by Bishop Madison G. Copeland. Interment will be held in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family will be at 1053 Pitchkettle Road.
