A new Crime Stoppers program has been initiated at King’s Fork Middle School, for which a volleyball fundraiser was held Wednesday. Suffolk Police Officer Tammy James, the DARE officer assigned to the school, reported that more than $500 had been raised. The money will help fund rewards to students who help police solve crimes that occur on school premises or in their neighborhoods.
