A man who allegedly got his girlfriend’s 14-year-old niece pregnant three years ago pleaded guilty in Suffolk Circuit Court Thursday to six counts of carnal knowledge.

As part of the plea agreement, two counts each of aggravated sexual battery, rape, forcible sodomy and object penetration were dropped against Reuben D. Parker, 43, of Suffolk.

Parker, on probation for three felony convictions when the incidents occurred between February and March 2002, could receive up to 10 years on each charge of carnal knowledge, said Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney Marie Walls. Judge Westbrook Parker scheduled sentencing for July 21.

The previous convictions, which carry a cumulative eight years suspended time, could be added to the sentence.

According to the court testimony,

the girl was staying at her aunt’s Holladay Street home, where Parker had sexual intercourse with her on three occasions. He allegedly did so again between April and June, causing the girl to get pregnant.

A paternity test showed that there was a 99 percent chance that Parker was the child’s father, according to testimony.

He was arrested in 2003 as a result of a Suffolk Crime Line caller who reported that Parker- at the time wanted for a 2001 probation violation-was hiding out in Norfolk, said Lt. Debbie George, spokeswoman for the Suffolk Police Department.
