Police on Monday released a sketch of the suspect who allegedly robbed the Bank of America in downtown Suffolk last week.

The black man went into the bank in the 200 block of West Washington Street on Thursday and gave the teller a note demanding money, said Lt. Debbie George, spokeswoman for the Suffolk Police Department. He left the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

No one was injured during the incident, she said.
