Hot dogs, hamburgers, drinks, popcorn and cotton candy will be available. Carnival armbandsd will be sold for $10 each allowing unlimited access to rides.

Free housing, services for homeless veterans

Through Thursday, homeless veterans throughout Suffolk and Western Tidewater can find a variety of free services, including temporary shelter, at the National Guard Armory. Stand Down 2005 involves a coalition of agencies and businesses, including area health provides, who will contribute to the effort. Girl Scout Group 5563

The Girl Scout Group 5563 is sponsoring an American Flag Burning Ceremony at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 15 at Lone Star Lake Lodge, Pembrooke Lane, Chuckatuck.
