Charlie C. Stephens, Jr., son of the late Charlie C. Stephens Sr. and Daisy Jordan Stephens, was born on January 7, 1932 in Franklin. Mr. Stephens was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness. He died Saturday, June 4.

He leaves to cherish his memory: three daughters, Sheila Chamblee (Arthur), Brenda Tucker (Andrew Sr.) and Lucy Stephens; two sons, Charles A. Stephens and wife Amy and Kevin Stephens and (Lisa); one sister, Northando (Cookie) Zulu (Vusie) of Minn.; brother-in-law, Ed Bottoms; sister-in-law, Elva Stephens of Minn.; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; nieces; nephews; cousins and other relatives and friend.

A viewing will be held from 12 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 9. A service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 10 in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness, 1351 White Marsh Road, Suffolk with Discourse Brother Lloyd Holland Sr. The interment will be in Albert C. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk. Professional service entrusted to T.E. Cooke-Overton Funeral Home.
