Shadeen Jabbar (Wadell Simmons), 65, son of the late Roy and Nettie Branch Simmons, died Monday, June 13, 2005 in Beverly Manor in Portsmouth. The funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. today in the T.E. Cooke-Overton Funeral Home Chapel, located at 405 Johnson Ave., Suffolk. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Suffolk.
