VMI Cadet Phillip Lee Saunders Jr. has completed his second year at Virginia Military Institute in Lexington and has been named to the dean’s list for the second semester of the 2004-05 academic year.

Cadet Saunders is currently studying english and history at Oxford University in England. He recently returned from Peru and Bolivia, South America where he studied Spanish through a VMI Study Abroad program.

He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip L. Saunders Sr. of Suffolk.
