Liberty Property Trust is in negotiations with two prospective tenants for its new 130,000-square-foot warehouse in Bridgeway Commerce Park.

The Philadelphia-based company unveiled the $5.5 million building at 6950 Harbour View Blvd. during a reception for the business community last week.

&uot;No leases have been signed at this point but we are hoping to close the deal within the next few weeks, &uot;said Brian Devlin, a leasing representative with Liberty. He would not elaborate on the prospective tenants.

&uot;We’ve had a lot of interest from prospects in the past 60 days,&uot; said Devlin. &uot;Most of them are looking for space in the 100,000- to 250,000-square-foot range.&uot;

The two businesses now looking at the building would use a total of 100,000 square feet of space, he added.

Once the property is leased, Liberty is poised to move ahead with plans to build two other speculative buildings on the site, Devlin added. The new warehouses would have 125,000 and 165,000 square feet of space respectively.
