These are among the $8.6 million in "extras" included the Suffolk School Board's supplemental budget, which was adopted in March. The list of items needed to take Suffolk Public Schools to a new level was unveiled during the budget-planning process last spring.

At the board's annual retreat earlier this week, School Superintendent Dr. Milton Liverman asked board members to spend the next few weeks prioritizing the items on the list. They will discuss the prioritized list during the August meeting.

The list will be used for planning future budget requests from the Suffolk City Council.
