Regina Belle, Manhattans will headline concert in Suffolk

Celebrated R&B artist Regina Belle and the legendary Manhattans, featuring Gerald Alson and Blue Lovett, will perform at Temple Beth El’s 4th annual Summer Concert at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, July 31.

The concert will take place on the lawn at Temple Beth El located at 3927 Bridge Road (Route 17 north) in Suffolk.

Belle will grace the stage fresh from the completion of her latest album Lazy Afternoon produced by George Duke. A compilation of beloved rhythm and blues staples and golden classics will be highlights of the performance.

The Manhattans, with Alston and Lovett, two of the group’s earliest members, celebrated their 40th anniversary last year.

The community concert is a kid-friendly, smoke and alcohol-free event. Tickets, available at Ticketmaster locations, are $20 in advance and $25 at the gate. Tickets are also available at the Suffolk Visitor’s Center, 321 N. Main St. Call 923-3880 or 393-9399.
