The parents of Jodie Lynn Baker and Michael Howard Brinkley of Suffolk are pleased to announce their engagement.

Baker is the daughter of Jack and Jeannette Baker of Suffolk. The maternal grandparents are Edna Howell and the late Robert Howell.

Doris Baker and the late Clifton Baker are the paternal grandparents.

Brinkley is the son of Howard and Janice Brinkley of Chesapeake. Paternal grandparents are Howard and Ruby Brinkley.

The wedding will take place on September 10, 2005 at the Bethlehem Christian Church.
