Larvell J. Harrell, 54, of 339 Goodman Street, Suffolk died July 17, 2005 in Emporia Manor.

He was a native of Suffolk.

He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Powell Harrell.

He graduated from John F. Kennedy High School and attended Norfolk State University.

He was a member of Metropolitan Baptist Church.

He played baseball/softball for Suffolk Parks and Recreation.

He is survived by his wife, Annette T. Harrell; his father, David Harrell; three daughters, Atoya A. Harrell of Portsmouth, Aquia L. Harrell and Jerea S. Wiggins (Dwayne) both of Suffolk; two sons, Ratrell T. Smith and Larvell J. Harrell, Jr. both of Suffolk; two brothers, David JePree Harrell (Nicki) of Edinburgh, Scotland and Michael Lee Harrell (Shauna) of Baltimore, Md.; 12 grandchildren; three stepchildren, Natasha Powell, Charles Powell, Ahmad Powell; two nieces, five nephews; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday July 24, 2005 in Metropolitan Baptist Church by Dr. Robert Hobbs.

Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery.
