The New Generation Choir of New Mt. Joy Food for Living Ministry will sponsor a &uot;Big Brother and Big Sister Banquet for children ages 2-12 at the Suffolk Shrine Club, 500 Elizabeth St., Suffolk at 6 p.m. Saturday, July 30. The donation is $10. For more information, call 539-2931.

This year, the New Generation Choir has participated in a variety of activities and functions including a King and Queen Pageant, a Gala Ball, and a Youth Retreat, which was recently held in Charlottesville.

The children are excited about this ministry and are looking forward to sponsoring greater events in the future, according to program planners.
