Mrs. Marion Doris Barnes of Suffolk announces the en-gagement of her daughter, Annette Patricia Barnes of Suffolk to Arthur Richardson of Chesapeake. Miss Barnes is also the daughter of the late Joe C. Barnes.

Mr. Richardson is the son of the late Arthur Richardson Jr. and Mrs. Ruth Richardson of Suffolk.

The wedding will take place at 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, 2005 at East End Baptist Church in Suffolk.
