Pulaski Baptist Church, Carrsville, will hold its revival services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 22-26. The evangelist will be Dr. Mark Croston, pastor of East End Baptist Church. Dr. Robert Rodgers is host pastor.

Macedonia African Methodist Episcopal Church, 127 Pine St, is celebrating its 135th anniversary with a revival this week. The Rev. Steven A. Blunt, pastor of First Baptist Church, Mahan Street will conduct nightly revival services from 7 a.m. Aug. 22-25. The week will end with an Aug. 26 concert by the Edward Wilson Ensemble.

Music will be rendered by the following churches: Wednesday, Pleasant Union Baptist Church; Thursday, First Baptist Church, Mahan Street. The Rev. Charles L. Harvin is host pastor.

Potter’s Hill

Men’s Conference

Potter’s Hill Christian House of Fellowship, 132 Bank St., is hosting its 7th annual men of War Conference nightly through Aug. 26.

All other nightly services begin at 7:30 p.m. Speakers are Wednesday, Dr. J.J. Ferguson; Thursday,

Bishop Clarence Russell, Mt. Carmel Baptist; and Friday, the Rev. Wendell Waller, Christian Home Baptist.

Healing revival Aug. 22-26

Healing Chapel Baptist Church at 2375 Godwin Blvd., is having its annual revival Aug. 22-26. Prayer and Praise service will begin at 7 p.m. each night (local churches will serve) followed by Revival Services at 7:30 p.m.

Guest minister for the week will be the Rev. C. C. Carter, pastor of New Hope Baptist Church, Newport News.

The pubic is invited.

Services, programs at Lakeview Missionary

Lakeview Missionary Baptist Church, 635 Brook Ave., Suffolk, will celebrate its annual homecoming

with a revival Aug. 22-26.

The Rev. Joe B. Fleming, pastor of Third Baptist Church of Portsmouth, will preach at 7:30 p.m. each night. Choirs from throughout Hampton Roads will sing each night.

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, the men of Lakeview will sponsor a Fish Fry for Men’s Day. A $6 donation is requested.

New Life Outreach Ministries

New Life Outreach Ministries, 2518 Jackson Road,

is having a Pre-Woman’s Day Services at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 26. The guest speaker is Sister Sharon Y. Blizzard, Fourth Baptist Church, Portsmouth. Mavis L. Goodman, pastor of Higher Dimensions Family Worship Center, is guest pastor at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 2.
