Donald and Stacey Griffis of Orangeburg, S.C., announce the birth of twin daughters, Samantha Adele and Mackenzie Morgan Griffis, on Aug. 7.

The twins are the grandchildren of Mr. and Mrs. Benny T. Copeland Sr. of Suffolk. Great grandparents are Mrs. Nancy B. Copeland and Mrs. Juanita M. Nance, both of Suffolk, and the late Carey T. Copeland and Clifton S. Carr.

Paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Randy E. Griffis of Orangeburg. Great grandparents are Ms. Barbara Foster of Orangeburg, Mrs. Willie Mae Pruitt of Neeses, S.C., and the late Leonard E. Griffis and Glen Pruitt. Great-great-grandmother is Mrs. Elma Griffis of Orangeburg.

Mrs. Griffis is the former Stacey Adele Copeland of Suffolk.
