Suffolk Presbyterian’s schedule change

Suffolk Presbyterian Church, 410 N. Broad St., has returned to its 11 a.m. worship schedule. On Sept. 11, the church will hold Rally Day with a pancake breakfast at 9:15 a.m. and Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. Classes are provided for children age 3 through adults. Corinth Chapel’s Homecoming

Red Bird Mission craft fair

Oxford United Methodist Church, 601 W. Washington St., is hosting an Appalachian craft show by Red Bird Mission Crafts from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 10. Crafts made include handcrafted baskets, woven rugs, cornhusk dolls and flowers, beeswax candles, hand-painted gourds, Christmas ornaments and the like.

Oxford clothes closet available

As part of Oxford United Methodist’s church’s mission work in the city of Suffolk, the congregation is operating a clothes closet. Operation hours are from 9 a.m. to noon every Thursday. Hours will expand as the need grows and the closet becomes mores established. Oxford is partnering with other local churches to meet the growing need in Suffolk.
