Jessica Watahovich and Ashley Aston had two goals each as Nansemond River shut out visiting Oscar Smith 5-0 Wednesday afternoon. Katelyn Yandle banged in the other point for the Lady Warriors, and Amber Shaffer recorded her fifth shutout of the season in goal. River will host York Monday.

Over at King’s Fork, Mary Rose scored the only Lady Bulldog goal in a 3-1 loss to Deep Creek. Fork will have off until Oct. 5, when the squad goes to Oscar Smith.

Lakeland’s game at Hickory was postponed, and a makeup date had not been announced at press time. The Lady Cavaliers’ next scheduled contest is Monday at home against Tallwood.
