Staff report

In an effort to preserve the wildlife in the Great Dismal Swamp and the wild side of motorcycle enthusiasts, the Fourth Annual Swamp Roar Motorcycle Rally will hit the open road on Saturday, Oct. 8.

Swamp Roar has raised thousands of dollars the last several years for education and signage programs, as well as habitat restoration for the Great Dismal, one of North America’s few remaining wildernesses.
