Dennis Lewis and Emma Askew were married at Tabernacle Christian Church in Suffolk on September 17, 2005.

Emma is the daughter of the late George Eure and Nettie Johnson of Suffolk.

Dennis, a native of Albany, Ga., is retired from the U.S. Navy.
