David B. &uot;Duke&uot; Smith and Irene D. Smith were married Sept. 25, 1942 in Suffolk. After living in Norfolk and Virginia Beach for 31 years, they moved to 4049 Whaleyville Blvd. The couple plans to spend their 63rd anniversary worshipping at Liberty Spring Christian Church and enjoying their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
